EA and Sega Start Easter Sales Early

EA and Sega Start Easter Sales Early

In a rerun of the rush of sales sparked in honour of Valentine’s Day, EA and Sega have unveiled a multitude of temporary price cuts for some of the most entertaining iOS games on the App Store.

EA is leading the line, offering a total of 23 games at cheaper-than-usual prices.

The apps involved include both iPhone and iPad releases, and range from Dead Space and FIFA to Super Monkey Ball and Need for Speed.

While Sega’s Easter offering is fairly minuscule, Sony is looking to make a bigger splash in the app store.  Sega’s Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2 and Altered Beast are dropping from $2.99 to a mere 99 cents, while Chu Chu Rocket HD is $2.99 after a drop from $4.99.

As noted above, Sony’s list is much larger:

Monopoly
Max and the Magic Marker
FIFA 11
The Game of Life
Scrabble
Need For Speed: Shift
The Sims 3: Ambitions
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
NBA Jam
Fight Night Champion
Dead Space
The Sims 3
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12
Pictureka!
Reckless Racing HD
Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Max and the Magic Marker
Risk: The Official Game
Scrabble
Rock Band Reloaded
Dead Space
FIFA 11

Sega has guaranteed its sales until the 25th, while Sony says its prices will only be reduced for a “limited time.”
