Telltale Reveals A Multitude of Games

During a late night press event in San Francisco, Telltale initiated a multitude of new game announcements including ones regarding the future of some of their most popular adventure game franchises. Although all of the games are coming to both the PC and Mac as downloadable content, only a few were confirmed for the iPad, Telltale’s primary platform.

First off, Telltale noted numerous details on their current series, showing new-fangled trailers for both Back to the Future Episode 2 and their incoming Jurassic Park app. Back to the Future Episode 2 will have a gangster theme and be set in the 1930s, but it’s not confirmed for the iPad yet.

The developer will also break its famed habit of releasing only the first episode in a series of titles – Telltale plans to submit episodes 2-5 of Monkey Island Tales for App Store approval sometime in April. Telltale CEO Dan Connors confirmed that this is the is not their last series that will fully make an appearance on iPad.

Five new games were announced in total, all which will be available between Summer 2011 and the Q1 of 2012. Again, not all of these have been confirmed for iOS just yet:

  • Puzzle Agent 2
  • Badge of Carnage
  • King’s Quest
  • Fables
  • The Walking Dead
