The event, set for June 6th to the 10th, is reserved for iOS platform developers looking to learn about newfound Apple harware ranging\u00c2\u00a0from\u00c2\u00a0iPods and iPhones to the latest Macbook and more.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, the event became a showcase for Apple to introduce incoming iPhone hardware. All iterations of the iPhone, with the exception of the original iPhone, have been confirmed and set for release during the WWDC keynote.<\/p>\n<p>However, there are rumors going around reporting that\u00c2\u00a0Apple may keep the event strictly software based. \u00c2\u00a0This comes from\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/allthingsd.com\/\">All Things D<\/a>, who&#8217;s John Paczkowski wrote &#8220;I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m hearing explicitly that this year it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a software event.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As for iOS 5, it is supposedly on track for a potential reveal at the conference as well.
