Google has launched an official assault on Apple today, with the announcement of the acquisition of Motorola\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Mobility division for $12 billion.<\/p>\n
The move is aimed to bolster the internet-giant\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s hardware credentials, as well as strengthen the Android platform which is in direct competition with Apple\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s iOS devices.<\/p>\n
