]Slide to Unlock is quite possibly the dumbest iPhone game I have reviewed up to this point. Slide to Unlock is just the slide to unlock feature that all iPhones use to unlock. Do me a favor; hit that nice little button on the top of your iPhone to lock it. Now hit it again. Slide your finger across the bottom of the screen. Well there you are, you have just played Slide to Unlock.<\/p>\n

Well ok maybe you haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t played it, but you have come pretty close. Imagine a black background with the slide to unlock on at the bottom, now imagine four more of those little bars stacked on top of each other. That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s what the game looks like. It plays just like you would imagine, as a bar pops up you slide your finger across to delete it. As you progress more and more bars pop up at shorter and shorter intervals.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly there are four different modes to play. Classic which has you only swipe from left to right like you do normally on the iPhone. Twist, where you slide from right to left as well as left to right. Doubles, where two bars pop up at the same time (from left to right.) Finally there is revenge, which is the same as doubles but you also have bars coming from right to left.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Now I grudgingly have to admit, while I think the concept is terrible, the gameplay is actually pretty fun.\u00c2\u00a0 Even though I thought it was dumb I couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t help myself from trying to beat my latest high score. The inclusion of OpenFeint didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t help ether. Then I had to compete against thousands of other players on the high score boards instead of just myself.<\/p>\n

Even though it is mildly addictive, has four different game modes, and has OpenFeint support, the fact that this game costs you a dollar isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t acceptable. If the app was free I would say great, go check it out, then forget about it. But since it costs a dollar I say just forget it, unless you really<\/em> like sliding your finger across the screen and giving your arm cramps then save your money for a more fun and rewarding game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
