Motorola Planning “Agressive Form Factor” Tablets in Late 2011

Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha delivered a keynote speech early Tuesday morning at the Oppenheimer Annual Technology and Communications Conference, noting the company’s recent most releases and the lessons its learned going forward.

Referencing the Xoom’s February 24 launch, Jha told attendees to expect Motorola tablets in the second half of the year to have “much more aggressive form factors”, along with innovative enterprise features.

The CEO added that the company would be focusing more on less expensive, WiFi dedicated tablets in the future.

The manufacturer additionally intends to streamline its global branding, hoping to save a buck or two in the process.
