Apple Announces Tech Talk World Tour 2011

Apple has formally announced dates for its wildly popular Tech talks. The iOS 5 Tech Talk World Tour 2011 will be held across Europe, North America, and Asia beginning early next month. According to a posting on Apple’s official website, the tour will run through January.

Apple Tech Talks, which first began in 2008 and repeated in 2009 as “iPhone Tech Talk World Tours,” are similar to the mini WWDC sessions held for iOS and Mac developers. Unlike WWDC, however, Apple’s tech talks will not cost enthusiasts nearly $1600. Instead, the World Tour events will be free to attend.
